Q: WHAT CAMERA EXPERIENCE DO I NEED TO HAVE? WHAT LEVEL DO I NEED TO BE?
A: The workshops are open to all levels and types of photographers – we only ask that you are engaged, willing to learn, and understand the basics of how to use your camera.
Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
A: We recommend you have a digital SLR and a couple of lenses for variety. A few memory cards and a spare camera battery just in case as well! Additional information about equipment will be emailed to students before the workshop.
For those who are interested in trying film, different aspects will be discussed. Please include your interest via email or the Google sign-up.
Q: HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT FOR THE COURSE AND WHEN IS IT DUE?
A: There is no deposit for the class, but the class fee must be transferred in full to secure your date and spot.
Q: IS MY PAYMENT REFUNDABLE?
A: While we understand that sometimes unexpected changes happen so we try to be as flexible as possible with the students, sadly refunds are not offered. While cancellations are not available, rescheduling is! Students are available to reschedule twice during the Spring period. Any schedule that is not available during that Spring period, will be offered a class at a later date and discussed via email.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU (THE TEACHER) CANCEL A CLASS?
A: If I am unfortunately needing to cancel (In the case of illness or emergency), I would notify you as soon as possible and I will credit it towards a future rescheduled class. This will not be included in your two-time rescheduling limit.
Q: WHAT ARE THE USAGE TERMS OF THE IMAGES WE TAKE ON THE WORKSHOP?
A: The images taken by each individual are for your full portfolio use. Feel free to use the work in future exhibitions, online, or in your future print sales, articles, etc. Any models acquired by the student must be aware of this prior to the class, and must sign a model release.
Q: IS THERE A NEWSLETTER TO KEEP UP TO DATE WITH YOUR CLASS SCHEDULES?
A: Yes, please message me to be included in the Newsletter. I personally do not like having so many emails come into my inbox, so each person who wants to receive a newsletter must send an email to be included.
Q: HOW MANY DAYS PRIOR TO THE CLASS CAN I SCHEDULE?
A: You can book your 4-week course at any point in 2024, but each month is limited to 10 people for the classes.
